My Entrepreneurship Story Tyler Mosley

I am taking this class because I need an upper division elective to satisfy my degree requirements and this class is online so I can take it even though I am not in Gainesville. I hope to use this class to keep me busy over the summer and help improve my GPA.

An experience I have with an entrepreneur is the founder of the flight school that I train at. He put almost all of his money and took out loans in order to lease a building, lease aircraft, get licensed, and hire flight instructors. The flight school has recently been named the top flight school in the United States 2 years in a row due to the founder's vision for creating a culture within the staff that promoted unity, belonging, and safety within the general aviation community.

  1. It's so cool that you attend flight school! I used to want to learn how to fly a plane, but once I had to ride on a small aircraft and there ended up being too much weight for it to take off so they had to escort a volunteer off the plane.. Since then I realized how sensitive small planes are and I've developed a small fear of them! Haha. But I hope you enjoy the class too!

  2. Well, Tyler, if you stick with it, you will be able to boost your GPA with this class. It's a fun way to do it, too.

It's got to be an honor to be named a top flight school. My friend and I were just talking about flight schools yesterday--he's considering joining the Air Force so we ended up talking about what it would take to learn to fly different types of aircrafts, etc. Anyway, very cool. Kudos to you for flying. The idea terrifies me. Stressing safety strikes a chord with me.

You can check out my story (http://adventuresinent.blogspot.com/2016/01/my-entrepreneurship-story.html), though it has no high flying shenanigans.

  3. Hi Tyler!

That's awesome that you are training to become a pilot! You're a lot braver than I am, that's for sure. I find it impressive that you are training at a top flight school, maybe you could have provided the name of it? I wish you the best of luck in your aviation adventures and I hope you enjoy this class!
